Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and chronic liver disease (CLD).
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:
- Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of CLD and GI disorders
- Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of CLD and GI disorders
- Identify new advances presented at 2022 DDW and assess their potential impact on clinical practice

MOC Designation
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 8.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.
